Licia Newulis is Folio Studios’ Business Owner and Photography Coordinator.  Licia has a B.S. from the University of Minnesota and has 12 years of management, sales, buying, and client support experience gained in some of the world’s top corporate headquarters.  Licia has worked for Benetton-Italia, Rollerblade, Target Corporation, Best Buy, and Shop NBC.  She has traveled the world and gained vast trend, product development, and quality assurance experience.  She has managed multi million dollar accounts and has dealt with clients/vendors such as Reebok, Nike, Puma, Nine West, Harry Winston, Tiffany & Company, Seiko, Timex, the National Football League, Major League Baseball, the Chicago Bears, the Houston Texans, and ESPN.    Licia continually hones her business skills through graduate school courses, professional seminars, and business organizations such as NAFE and WSBA.

Folio Studios employs 12 photographers who are protégés of highly accredited Twin Cities’ photojournalist, Greg Jansen.  Five of the 12 photographers have Primary Photographer status and have each shot over 100 weddings.  One hundred is a number that signifies achievement and experience in the world of wedding photojournalism.  It is a number that gives clients confidence that their photographer will shoot their special day with the utmost professionalism, talent, and experience.

As a studio, Folio serves as a haven for creativity and expression.  All Folio photographers receive credit for their work, are well compensated, and have input in how the business is run.  Folio supports its photographers in their quest to better themselves in a field/medium that is continually evolving due to technical advancement and progress.
